u no that connecting tube u use that is connected into the rubber bung by a piece of glass and then has a rubber tube that goes under the collecting tube so you can measure the amount of oxygen given off in the hydrogen peroxide and potato experiment rite? what is it called? is it just a connecion tube? im sure there is a more scientific name than that but i really cant remember it?
Be a bit more clear, which part do you want to know.
The piece of glass that goes into the test tube with your potatoes is called glass/capillary tubing. The rubber tube that connects to the capillary tubing and delivers the air underneath the burette is just a rubber delivery tube. The glass tubular container with dividers on it is called a burette.
Does it answer you question?
Bunsen valve? A short piece of rubber tube with a small cut in it to allow gas to be collected as it escapes throught the cut. Ususally submerged in water.
