Trainers, or any good walking shoes. But they cannot be ugly or marshmallow shoes; they have to be fashionable, as I go to art school. Any ideas?

    Thanks

How about Converse? They come in all sorts of colours and designs. But I think most people either love them or hate them.

TUK do a good selection of flat-soled, comfy Mary Janes... mine are black with little white cats on the toes Can walk all day in them! Their creepers are pretty cool as well.

Why dont you try boots? I have a few pairs of flat boots, in different colours, with fur etc. They are so dead comfortable, and you can dress them up or down. They also keep my feet really warm! They have been in fashion this winter. Dont really know if you mean mainstream fashion, or individualistic fashion. If that makes sense at all?

What about pumps, not ballet ones but the cute patterned ones with the elastic bit, there are some on the Topshop website, they are so comfy and i have them instead of trainers because i hate trainers they are so unfeminine!

Eh? Go around London art schools in chav trainers or toruisty puffy shoes and see how akward you feel.

I dunno, I wear nice shoes because I like to wear nice shoes... Nothing to do with where I study, or where I frequent..

It's not as if people were going to suggest ugly shoes unless they knew you were an art student..

    --------------

Oh, and green flash, and flat pumps to wear with skirts. Lovely.
