Anybody else taking Nootropics? ( aka Smart Drugs! )

I personally take Ginkgo Biloba, Flaxseed Oil ( Omega 3 ), Zinc, Vit B + Cs, Soy Lecithin and Probiotics !

Before you guys say it I will now purchase Multibionita to prevent overdosing and saving my money on buying separate vitamins + minerals.

Anyway back to my point, I want to know what do you guys take for enchancing your memory?

I want to incorporate some more (or less!) supplement into my regime....

( The ones that I have heard to be useful is Korean Ginseng, Lysine, Creatine.......)

Since taking my regime, I have realise that they might seem to work in synergy as my memory has drastically improve! ( I suspect that might be mostly down to the Ginkgo though!). But because I have been taken them for so long, it seems to me that my body becomes immune to them... Is this a psychological effect or is it possible?

The ones you mention are pretty worthless, no offence.

Look into ALCAR(acetly-L-Carnitine)
Tyrosine
Lecithin(the 1 you mentioned which is good)
Piracetam
aniracetam

And eat a healthy diet. Saves having to buy pills

Stick at eating a healthy and balanced diet and take omega 3-6-9 supplements if you don't eat a lot, or any, fish or nuts or the like.

Vitamins are good but I heard a rumour of them being a con, currently checking that out

:p:

Erm, I think the obsession with vitamins is a tad worrying actually...

Natural brain power is what you want.

Oh, and I don't think all vitamins and supplements can be classed as "con"...a minority perhaps, but not in general.

I think I tried Omega 3 capsules once, and it made me gag as when you bite into them the fish oil just bursts all in your mouth...euw...gross!

Yeah I had omega 3 tablets and I felt really sick all day because of the taste of fish.
So my mum got me some kids' omega 3 capsules that still tasted foul but were orangey foul rather than fishy foul. But they made me incredibly hyper so I had to stop taking them.

Those would provide an improvement if you were deficient in any of those, but otherwise they won't have any effect (if anything it may have negative effects if you are overdosing on any of them). Save your money and just eat healthily if you are concerned.

Yeh, waste of money, do you buy your flax from H&B?
