Did your feet actually hurt when you were wearing the wedges? If not, the spasms could just be cramp. Give your foot a good rub, that should help a bit.

Hmm I get these from time to time, sooo painful!

Was just sitting in bed the other day and the arch of my foot just completely tightened up... really dont know what to do about it either! thankfully its not too often tho

alos if i havent been walking or im sitting for a long time, like when i wake up i can hardly walk on it....hmmmm
Reply 7
When I get, often, the only way to get rid of it is to walk of the foot thats in pain, and then it usually goes within a second or two.

no mine stays for like an hour or something and then it comes back during the day, it only goes if i rest it and thats only cos i get on the bus. its like ive got a limp or something

My foot just goes rigid sometimes for no reason and to stop it hurting i find massaging it helps.

i tried a massage last night and it didnt change anything

does your foot go rock solid and your toes point up a little bit? Cus if this happens to you just push them down even though its painfull it goes afterwards. You could also go to the Dr's if worst comes to worst.

no that doesnt happen i dont think....
I wear heels so much that sometimes I get like a little knot of muscle in my calves and they spasm. It's horrible. It usually happens when I'm in bed and I usally go "ahhh! fuuuuuu*******k!" I swear the guy living next to me thinks I'm being murdered. And then it kills to wear flats for like a week afterwards.

Realise that this isnt helpful in any way.
