i know....are you into soccer? the only time i watch soccer is the world cup, and then i wake up at like 2 in the morning to watch matches!
When I was younger I was more interested in it (i.e., age < 12). I still have a passing interest though.

My favoured team are residing at the top of Division 2, before transcending to a higher plane of footballing prowess, and undoubtedly becoming European Champions within 5 years.

Lol. I'm sure it is re-run on a channel during appropiate hours in the US.

I'd recomend it. By far the toughest sport you will ever witness.
no, they dont play australian re-runs, not enough people would watch that! but they do have one rugby league around here.....i think.

my dad played rugby when he live in australia!

Only two/three people are active at any one time. In rugby and soccer everybody is active.

most american athletes take some form of performance enhancing drugs, so i wouldn't really say they're better than anyone at olympic events

With respect fielding isnt the same as throwing a ball or hitting it with a bat. Most of the team batting is in the fug out.

I agree. I used to play. If you are any good, you get more tired off the ball than you do with it.

I would have said overall the Aussies would have won more. If the US beat the women at swimming that doesnt count. The Olympics should be for men, like it was originally. Australia have that Thorpedo guy, he is amazing.

don't you remember tetrahydrogestrinone (THG)? loads of american athletes had been found to take it. even old ben johnson might be stripped of his 400m gold. i'm not sure about swimming, but in track and field, americans play dirty
