i have got an offer from warwick but im slightly confused. it says an offer of AAB in three A level subjects and a minimum of B in an additional Advanced Subsidary Level excluding general studies in the examination year 2005-2006.
does it mean i have to take up an AS subject now...as in my A2. or r they refering to my already achieved AS grades?

    could ne1 explain

Well your too late to take up another AS now anyway. Did you put your AS grades as pending? If so they may just mean that you have to get a B in one of the pending ones this year but it is pretty confusing, if your worried the best thing to do would be to contact Warwick admissions office (details available through UCAS or Warwick’s site) and they will be able to give you a reliable answer.

I had the same offer (except it was ABBb) and I'm interpreting it to mean that I need to get ABB this year as I achieved ab in the examination year 2005-2006 (i.e. in my August results) and none of my AS Levels were classed as 'pending' and I did not state that I was planning to take an additional AS this year. Hope this information helps.

P.S. If you find out anything surprising from Warwick (  ) I'd really appreciate knowing if you have the time.

If your results are pending, they won't be certificated until either January or August, therefore it wants a B from a subject you dropped last year that's certificated this year, if that makes sense.

Yeah it'll mean the AS you already had and dropped at start of year 13. They always ask for specific grades, usually a B for your dropped AS. Hmm...
