Single and happy.

On Christmas day which is not that far away, I will have been single for a whole year. It has been fantastic....I can wear what i want, go out when i want, kiss who i want! I dont have to worry about what to get him for xmas, I am so going to buy myself what i want. Men are useless at buying ME christmas presents.
When I celebrate new year I am going to be so happy with all my close friends who were there for me and have made this year so good.
Sorry to bore you all but i often read things like 'i hate being single especially at xmas' an want to know if anyone goin to be really happy to be single this xmas?
OR
has anyone had a really good year and would like t tell us about it?
tis the season to be jolly ............no negative thoughts aloud.

I left my ex-gf last xmas, but I guess that doesn't count. It's not been a bad year and it's had it's moments :smile:

I've gotta hear this...

We was together five years.......and he got me the most stupidest presents...we obviously had been havin problems...but when i opened my presents...i realised he did not know me at all...an if he had not during five years was no point hanging round....i could bore ya bout it foreva...but so glad I left now.

I love being single, probably because I'm a terrible flirt. It's not that I can't do commitment, but rather I have to know that what I'm committing to is really really worthwhile. I've just got back together with someone (after 2 years!) and he knows this... but he also knows exactly how much he means to me, and that I think it's worth it :smile:

(Still doesn't stop me missing it...)
