I know that, but I am best friends with some pretty childish guys, who get drunk, f**ck s**t up, climb things, and play super nintendo all day long. Boys like that are lovely, but sometimes I need an intellectual conversation. What's so wrong with that? I like getting wrecked just as much as anyone else, but I find it hard to find guys who I feel are on the same wavelength as me.
well they are out there. They're just well hidden :p:

Ive made 4 or 5 serious posts in the last 3 days.
I think Im entering some sort of depression.

Maybe it has something to do with my CD collection (Radiohead...coldplay...muse...p ink floyd...bob dylan...The Man Who...). Nope! Must be the weather!
Bob Dylan isn't depressing. Just Like a Woman is one of my favourite songs of all time.

I know. I thought French guys were more mature until I met some boys who gave me their vodka and then scaled a 15ft high lampost, stole chairs from the local brasserie, and had a competition to see who could run head first into a bus shelter without swerving at the last minute.

hmm, I get that with girls, many of them seem to be trapped in their own little self-revolving worlds; the world beyond their existence doesnt seem to exist!

Bob Dylan is whistful.
Pink Floyd is as happy as my fave music albums get.
Maybe the clash - but then they are fairly aggressive.

I dont know of any happy poets or songwriters.
It seems you have to feel at odds with the world to write.

I have never been a fan of consoles.
Nor being a monkey come to that.
I still wouldnt call myself particularly mature.

This thread is uptight.
Im tempted to go see the penguin society.

It's true. I get along with boys better.

I grew up listening to The Clash, and I don't really like penguins.

then again, such girls can be fun, the ones who will stay @ the club till it finishes or everyone falls over with drunkeness/tiredness, they tend to be more outgoing and up for it than guys.

sounds like you are in a vicious circle there, caught between immature guy friends and slef revolving girls. hmm
