The Badock Bar

The end of term approaches, drink the bar dry is tonight, so i felt it necessary to reminisce about the Badock Bar....

What a place, awesome memories of some amazing nights even just staying there. I'm gonna miss it over the hols, but then we'll be re-stocked with cheap booze and raring to go for the New Year.

Anyone with any comments about our glorious bar feel free to chip in.

PS. good meeting Ciara there last night, good to see some Clifton folk up at the Badock!

Forgot to say - I saw Matt Clarke aka fuglyduckling today on Cotham Hill. I recognised him from behind from his TSR photos.

I am cool.

Badock Bar is the best by far, and I've now visited all of them, so feel I can comment!

I think I saw fuglyducking at Badock last night actually, about to talk to the wedge. It was on my first visit so before I met the rest of the TSR lot. Hard to tell though..

What about the wonderfull technicolour dream bar!?

I think badock has a nice atmosphere but its not as spacious and seems to take ages to be served.

Friday is HB's "drink the bar dry" night, btw. Though they have said happy hour prices, rather than the dirt cheap ones i've heard about badock.

HB with sofas instead of those wooden chairs would own the Badock bar... :p: (I don't know how much cheaper Badock is, having said that... and I'm biased).

Don't go to the Badock bar all that often. Went last Sat because a guy I know from HB played at an open mic night, but I missed most of it because I couldn't get in to the building (and some eejits in the TV room ignored me when I knocked on the window... ). It's a very decent bar though, from what I've seen.

And yes, the wooden chairs suck a bit, they need some nice sofas.

OMG!! What the ***** was goin' on in Badock Bar tonight? At one point, there were as many Wills people as there were Badock people. Crazy!

If Harry hadn't have disappeared from under my nose i probably would have gone to Durdham too. There were just too many people in our bar tonight. Beyond belief!!

Well, not a bad night then. Awesome atmosphere.

Badock rules.

I will see you later on today at Ian Wei's lecture, my friend... After i've gone to the Terrace room to watch Liverpool book their place in the final of the World Club Championship.

I met someone in Badock bar tonight that lives on the Wirral and went to my school's bitter rival - Wirral Grammer. Bunch of wankers! lol :p: Harry, shame on you for being friends with someone from Wirral Grammar.

Right.

Badock bar is not very big, but is modern. In fact I would say that it is the same size as Wills' only more new.

Durdham bar is massive and new and had Katie (and 60p/pint worthies ---> later fell to 30p/pint (needless to say I drank twice as fast after that)) therefore was the best.

But yes, point was, I abandoned Phil by accident (got too drunk to remember to ring him) and I think something about Badock being small.Ummm I can't remember.

Neway speaking of scousers the Tom person got hold of my msn earlier so i apologise.
