So, I got an "offer" for Queen Mary, to study French (European Studies). It said on the letter, which I received 6th November, that Admissions were making a routine check on my application, after which I would hear what grades I needed.

I have heard nothing more from them, despite sending a slightly concerned email to the admissions department. I realise people are busy, but what is taking a month?

Is anyone else in a similiar situation?

Wow I've never heard of unis doing 'checks' on applications(and telling the applicant)...why don't you telephone them? You'll get an immediate response that way.

If there's one thing I've learnt it's that if you want to know something - phone them up. I swear most of the emails just go into a junkmail folder somewhere in cyber space.
