Can somebody please help me with this problem, I have completed my AS level Economics and the college in which i sat the exam as a "private candidate" have told me that I can not do the second part of the course (the A level) as i have not declined the grade. I have no idea what is going on and I personally think the examination officer is having a laugh.. okay i wish. Can they stop me doing my A2s? The exam officer said she wrote 2 letters to AQA and they wrote back saying that if i wanted an Alevel in economics I would have to sit the whole thing again!?!? Anyone heard of anything like this? Or am i being punkd?
    Thanks in advance

because you have not declined the grade?

doesnt make sense to me. can you just call/email/write aqa and have them explain it?

apparently they dont talk to students.. only to centres

Sounds they're claiming you can't do the A2 modules, because you cashed in the AS one to be awarded an AS level.

However afaik lots of schools cash in all AS results and it's no problem.

You did your AS level in 1 year right? Shouldn't really have been a problem, although I'm not quite sure what the procedure is with all the cashing in stuff.

Colleges don't have to let you take the exams by the way but as said before, you should get in touch with AQA yourself and try to sort it out.
