Messed up rhythm

I hate this! I'm on my gap year at the moment and finished a job a couple of weeks ago. Right now, I am in the middle of applying for other positions and I'll be travelling over New Year's. So basically, right now, I am not doing anything, meaning I don't have to get up in the mornings. I have always been a night owl and I dread having to get up early. But this is just crazy! I end up going to bed at like 9 am and getting up at around 6pm !!! I don't even usually see daylight  !!! It's sick  It was really bad yesterday. i went to bed around noon and got up at 8. I haven't been able to sleep since! I went to lie down a couple of hours ago, but I can't go to sleep. So now here I am lol. It's 1 pm and I haven't slept... I am actually tired, but since I can't go to sleep, I decided to try and pull through the day with coffee until tonight and then maybe I will be able to go to sleep at a reasonable time and get back to normal. I doubt it tho. By the time night comes, I'm probably way beyond the tired-stage! It's crazy. I am totally better at night, too. Whatever I do, 4 am just seems to suit me better than noon. Even if it's doing the dishes. Plus, I immediately fall into this habbit once I have a couple off days off and then it's hard to get out of.... Anybody else like this?

Yeah it takes me about 2 days to fall into that habit, just take the clocks out of your room and wake up when you feel like it thats whats helped me to get up today. I don't understand why the world cant operate at night though it seems so much better, its not as if winter days are even worth being awake for anyway really.

I know! And my town is like dead at night, too !!! I have a dog, so I have to walk him in the middle of the night when I'm having this phase and I am totally cool with it. Sometimes, when I walk him at like 7 am, before I go to bed  there are quite a lot of people out, going to work and stuff and I'm actually blindsided and like  PEOPLE  Not used to socialising anymore  :p:
Yeah i don't like winter - "its not as if winter days are even worth being awake for anyway really".

Hmm it is cold, dull, dull clouds, no sunlight, its not fantastic. The winter has hit me harder than usual - i was in India for 4 weeks prior to starting uni, the temperature in delhi was hmm 40-42 c. And now where i am in the bitter cold north. It sucks donkey balls.

Uhm, keeping awake now is proving to be harder than it seemed. I'm so tired, I'm afraid I'll start seeing things lol Coffee didn't help. Duh. I'm gonna have an awesome day lol

If you stay up for 18 hours in a row it has a similar effect to being drunk lol. Talk about a cheap high.

When you wake up at 9pm stay up the following day and go to bed at night you will be knackered, works for me everytime.

That's what I'm doing right now  !!! I am determined not to go to bed until at least 7 pm !! 4 more hours ... woohoo lol

And yes, I know about the high effect. I really feel like I've been doing drugs. I never have, but this is what it must be like. My hands are very shaky and I just went down to the bakery to get some food and I swear I talked like I was drunk. I had a hard time getting out a proper sentence !!
