I call university college because my university has a collegiate system, and I feel more a part of the college than I do the university.

EDIT: I just re-read the first post, and I would like to point out that I don't consider myself "common".

KCL is King's College London and it sounds really posh if you say it in a 'University Challenge' stylee.

Does anyone else hear their Uni choices in their head this way?
    No?

People who want to establish that they are in fact better than the "common mob", and thus validate their existence? *Shrug*

Americans do it because that's what it's called in their country. Apart from that, I don't think anyone does.

Either way, I think you need to get some real issues and stop making pointless threads about matters of no significance.

yeh its only because a lot of colleges (not uni colleges) are for drop outs. so I dont like being classed the same as them.

Drop-outs, by definition, do not attend any type of institution, because they have, in fact, dropped out. Hence the name. It's also worth noting that plenty of people drop out of their courses because they are unhappy with their location, or for personal/health reasons, or because they have realised they are on the wrong course and decided to pursue something else. Dropping out for the right reasons is nothing to be ashamed of.

I suggest you re-think your attitude. You're clearly not very intelligent. Perhaps you should consider going to a college.

    perhaps not

I was meaning drop outs at school, all went to the local college to arse about to save them getting a job. I suggest I dont re-think my attituide as my original view still stands!

I obviously never made it clear enough - cause' I couldn't be arsed.

No, my point still stands. You're being unnecessarily rude and making a pointless post about something which has no relevance to anything whatsoever, thus making an idiot out of yourself.
