Takes me to a spot by a waterfall where the snow falls gently and where the birds chirp in the snowy trees. Then after we enjoy the scenery, he kisses me and takes out the little black box, gets down on one knee, opens the box and says "will you marry me?" Then I hug him and we fall into the thick snow and...

I wouldn't like it if someone hid my ring in a cake. I want to see it in it's little box.

I don't want anything fancy really, just something simple and meaningful. I would like not to expect it. xx

I would like it to be somewhere that really means something to the two of us, and really romantic, with lots of candles and nice food (nice food is very important to me) and preferrabley in the night so we could see all the stars and just lie together and be together and talk and look into eachother's eyes etc
And then for him to just pull it out of his pocket and smile my favourite smile at me and say "will you do me the honour...."

Ok, well I'm going to meet someone, and then we're going to go on a round the world trip together, and while we're somewhere really pretty, like watching the northern lights, or eating at a posh restaurant looking out over sydney, or...and this is my ideal, in the blue grotto in capri, italy, and he'd pull out a pretty box and tell me he wants us to be together forever, and then when we get back to the hotel they'll be los of little candles and rose petals =D

i'd like to choose the ring.

one of my mates flew his gf to paris from australia to propose on top of eiffel tower, bless.

Ha, my dad said to my mum "spose we'll get married then" and mum was drunk and threw up, and he thought she was disgusted at the thought. my pares are classy!!

--------------

i did like the one in Step Mon when Ed Harris proposes to Julia ROberts and he ties a string around her finger and pushes the ring down the string aww

My parents didn't even get married, they were lazy but my mum did change her last name.

i wouldn't want anyone to propose to me that would really be the icing on the crap cake!!

Nowhere public. No cheesy lines.
And if he tries to give me diamonds, I might give up there and then.
Something interesting, unconventional, darkly romantic but still him.

I think if any man tried to do 'textbook romantic' to me, I'd take it as a sign of just how little he actually knew me.

Perfect proposal?

"Honey, how do you feel about threesomes?"
