Low crime rate and loads of civic pride. It's own underground. Love it.

Personally most of the home counties because they all seem pretty flat and bland - particularly Bedfordshire.

I concur. I live in north wales and its like all the **** places everyone has mentioned, with more rain, more cretins, less public transport and shops...

It depends....parts of South Yorkshire, Parts of both North and South Wales, Bits of london...the list could go on.
Hey!

I'm from Wales. Which specific parts of North/South Wales are you on about?

I know Snowdonia can be pretty damn grey and rainy, but there are some great places to live in Wales.

Anyway, I'm not diagreeing with you. Which parts are you on about?

Worst place in the UK to live?! Im going to have to say Derby or Nottingham what do you guys think?
Wouldn't agree with Nottingham at all. It's infinitely better than my hometown in Essex, so much more to do, fewer chavs, cheaper. Like anywhere, there are areas that aren't so nice, but anyone with sense doesn't go to them.

I haven't been to many places so not gonna judge, but somewhere where there's a lot of knife or gun crime. I like where I live cos there's very rarely violent crime around here. I think anyway.

Yorkshires a massive county though! We have some deprived places: Bradford, bits of Leeds, bits of Sheffield, most of Rotherham, Doncaster...but yes we also have places like York, Harragate and Cities such as Leeds which equals us out.
Very true =P.
