It depends. I have sex fairly regularly (once a week, more or less), but quite a few of my friends are virgins, and a few have partners who live in different cities so only get action when they go home/their partner comes to see them.
At mine everyone was really sensible and concentrating on their work.

It was terrible.

At my uni and among my friends A LOT
At my uni unless they're in a relationship it's pretty rare to hear of anyone having sex.

... Not that that's surprising.

Used to have a flatmate that would be like clockwork having it twice daily with his gf.... weird couple, all they ever ate were tuna sandwiches and cocopops.
Not really something you can give an average for tbh.

everyone does it every night, if you don't - you should drop out

I hate to be the one that says it but going to uni doesn't equal sex. If not good at it or getting it now that won't change when you get to uni.

I got more sex when i went to uni than I did at home. Maybe that;s be cause I live qite a long wat away form townss but like sex beuddies are eaier to quizrue when you're at uni if yiure at any god at dong that soon or thing.
It depends. Being in a relationship, when my boyfriend visits (or I visit him) we have sex upto four times a day, but another girl on my floor has told me she only has it about once a weekend with her boyfriend. Hmm, so it varies from couple to couple. And the singletons don't seem to have as much sex as expected. Most people just aren't really looking or only seem to have got laid like twice since Uni's started.

You may find it a bit easier at uni than you do else where but realistically you still need to have a skill for these things. I'm in my honours year and there are plenty of virgins still and I bet a lot of them thought as soon as they went to uni it would instantly click for them too.
Im a guy and I prefer it once or twice a week, but my girlfriend is wanting it almost everyday...it's tiring, but I can't complain :P
Quite a lot, only because I got myself a boyfriend...so 2/3 times a day 3/4 times a week. Most of my single friends don't get that much, except maybe like 1 or 2 who do ONSs quite a lot.

I am currently a virgin and am hoping to go to Uni in September, so I've been wondering on how often are people doing it.

I know that it varies from person to person, but just in general, are people mainly thinking about their studies and courses or is it common at Uni?

You will worry about your exams during exam period, u will see @uni it will become darker. The computer labs will be full, they'll be less people wandering around school

But other than that most people have alot of fun

@my uni, especially the computer science department where I spend all my day relationships are almost nonexistent but I wouldn't know about thier sex-life.

Definitely overhyped by people on forums and on the media. It isn't as frequent as depicted.
I'm curious though I hear people saying they have sex all the time during uni, but wouldn't people be focuses on their studies?

Would that not maybe depend on what course your doing? Like if you're a medical student obviously you wouldn't be out all the time
