I'm only doing AS, but I wouldn't be happy because I know I have the potential/ability to do better, and it wouldn't allow me to apply to the universities that I want to go to.

I'd imagine most people on here would think those are bad grades but I would be happy with them, although I think I can do better.

If I didn't need AAA to get into my firm and AAB to get into my insurance then yes, I would be happy. I think it's really dependent on what people need for university.

I don't think you're right about that. Getting an A* is very good, and getting ABB is still good as well. People seem to have a misconception that EVERYBODY on here wants to do medicine at Oxbridge, and it just isn't true.

Although having made that argument, I'd have to say that I wouldn't be happy with those grades. Mostly because to get in for medicine I need AAA, and also because it means I must have done REALLY badly in these exams coming, since I need B and C's to get A's.

I don't think that. I just think that there are a lot of very capable people here who can get AAA or above.
