University of Leeds or Brunel University?

Which do you think is better for Mechanical engineering and also uni itself for experience and good time?

Looking at the subject league table they aren't that far apart, but its just a league table and doesnt really tell you about the course.

So, personal opinions/experiences shared would be very helpful.

Thanks
Which one do you think you'd like best? London or Leeds?

London's an expensive city to live in...

You won't get the london experience at brunel, its so far out. I'd personally say Brunel though, simply based on its connections with companies, you'd probably be able to get a placement somewhere.

Yes, Brunel being so far out of London means living cost will be slightly less whilst being eligible for London's maintenance loan
yeah but leeds is higher ranked in the league tables, but im not sure about your specific course but if you are looking into the money side of things, brunel is a good option as it is just out of london. having said that by public transport it takes like 45 minutes to get to C.London by transport?

Comparing the accommodation cost for both of the unis, Leeds seems cheaper and its right on the city centre.
And yes it does take about 45 in tube to get to Uxbridge from C. London and another 15 minutes walk from the station to Brunel. :P
any advice for an MBA program brunel or uni of leeds, which one is better ?
