made a fool of myself, advice needed please!
rightio, so last night I went to a party with a few friends of mine, had a few drinks and got drunk..it wasnt being sick everywhere drunk, just not being able to stop myself saying things 
...anyway, when we arrived a guy in the yr above who was there said to me 'I hear you fancy John eh!' and I was like 'um..nooo why would you think that etc', and he said he 'has his spies'....but I do fancy John!..well I think he's really good looking, even if my friends don't agree (Ive always liked very different types of guys to my friends) so I do fancy him I think...after quite a bit more alcohol I apprently kept on saying to John, 'Im sorry about what michael said! I dont fancy you, but I think you're reallllly good looking!'... according to my friends I said this about 5 times to him...then in when the party ended a big group of us walked home and I linked arms with him and started rambling about loads of cr**, again saying i dont fancy him but he's good looking, and then talking about the moon of all things! (it was very pretty last night 
)
anyway..so I really like this guy, but I think Ive made a total idiot of myself...anything I can do to redeem myself? I walked home with him one day after school last week, but I was quite 'off' seeing as he was asking about what was going on with my best friend and one of his best mates and it wasnt really his business, so that wasnt the most comfortable situation... I even just want to be mates with him, but Im not exactly sure about how to go about it! any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just say you are sorry for making an idiot of yourself the other night and ask him if he is ok with you and just keep flirting with him...in time he'll notice you like him more than a friend than he does now don't worry xxxxxxxx

the problem is that Im really not the kind of girl that these guys see as 'girlfriend material' because of the way I look, so Im usually quite shy (obviously not yesterday though *blushes*)

Just go for it. The only way you will know if he is interested is if he tells you which is most easily found out by you telling him you are interested. If you dont, then you will regret it and possibly he will find someone else.

People say daft things when they're drunk! Just laugh it off (and say sorry perhaps) if he asks you about unless you actually do wanna go out with him...

I wouldn't say ugly as such...I dont really know what I mean to be honest...basically when I was younger I had goofy teeth etc and got quite bullied, and the things I got bullied for have always stuck in peoples minds at school I think...well thats my theory...but when Ive been on holiday on stuff I have kissed guys etc so I suppose Im not completely repulsive to the opposite sex!
