So which of the Wadham crew has been put out of their misery?

I haven't :frown: and it won't be until Monday at the earliest now
Yep, me too waiting til Monday. Spent this morning waiting for a letter screaming at anyone who went near the damn door. Personally, I think Oxford emailed Durham and said 'we're not going to give him an offer, you might as well have him...'

I've got an OFFER! I love you Wadham!
WOW yay for you :biggrin:!! Bet that makes up for Durham
So, Monday people. One of the girls I met at interviews for English @ wadham heard this morning. She lives like 30 miles from me, that's not too far so why did she get a letter and me not. Atm, I'm living under the pretext of 'no news is good news....i think'

My sister was rejected this morning. They don't seem to be too keen on the IB at Wadham.

(Yes, mystery repper, "or my sister for that matter". )

My grandad's postman, and he said that atm, 1st class mail can take 3 days to arrive, especially if it's not going anywhere local.

And mine's got to get to the Hague - i suppose that's not really 'local' from Oxford :frown:

It took my written work four weeks to get to Oxford (sent 7/11, arrived Wadham 5/12), and I sent that first class back before the christmas post was something to worry about!!! great....

Chinese, and she's predicted 42 (not sure whether that includes the extra marks). She's been offered 32 with 6,6,6 HL by Edinburgh though so is trying to be positive. Her Oxford interviewers were quite scathing about the IB though - they said that the IB covered more subjects but only superficially, and made it sound as though they considered it the easy option. She deliberately chose the IB because she wanted more of a challenge, and is doing 4 HL subjects, so to suggest she took the easy option is not really fair.

Really subtle. I'm sure everyone who has been rejected feels much better for that.
