Trying to do the impossible ...understanding the female mind!
Now I was under the impression this just happens to me, but then I met a guy last night who has EXACTLY the same thing happening to him.
You get a number off a girl, they want to see you ...you give them every opportunity to say no but they don't ...and then they go and ignore your text lol!
Now that is fine, but then I was always under the impression that if a girl gives you her no. then she is at the least 'a little interested on some level'! To cap it all off, its when you then see them out, leave them alone and they're sat their looking at you all night ...you make eye contact, and then its u who's made to feel like you've got the issues!!!
Girls ...what the hell are you doing / thinking ...cos I'm stumped if us men know!

i know what you mean, but i really make it so easy for a woman to turn me down if they don't fancy it ...but when they are like kissing you on the lips, flirting etc ...it's all very weird. I mean its not like i start off all heavy, you know its fancy lunch sometime?
i agree on the ego thing mind, but then it makes zero sense to me ...and i'm not alone on this. All it achieves is make the guy feel uncomfortable and from their its a downward spiral

Hunny women aren't supposed to make sense. Maybe you are too relaxed and not pushy enough. You know the whole go for lunch thing is a bit boring.

well maybe they were interested at the time but sobered up and had beer goggles on or somat (no offence intended cos id never ignore a text meself)

I wouldn't ignore a text either, even if it was to reply with some lame excuse, a guy still deserves acknowledgement of his existence.
But on the other hand when I'm drunk or in party mode I will flirt or give out my number and then regret it later. Girls sometimes just do it to be nice or because they don't know how to say no without looking like a biatch.

er soz, don't think she was smashed ...fairly early on in the night and we know each other reasonably well ...so not like a random pull in a club.
Ultimately, the best thing I can do is nothing ...I know that, but still doesn;t answer my rant above. womens logic is completely unfathomable ...whatever the intended logic is supposed to be in the first place!

Men are worse: who tells a girl she's beautiful & tells everyone she knows that he's her boyfriend and yet within 24 hours calls her to say he doesn't want her and NEVER wants to see her again? My best friend had that happen to her last year! Ah well, she's happy with someone else now (who honestly thinks she's something special).
