Hi!

I am applying for medicine in 2004 entry and was wondering which universities have the best gay life... And I don't mean how wide the gay nightlife is in the city the uni is located, but what the gay society is like, and how gay-friendly the actual university is...

Thanks alot!

An incredibly large proportion of Manchester Met is gay. I would imagine the same is true for any unis in Manchester/Leeds.

Manchester, Nottingham, Brighton(gay capital of UK) and obv the london uni's but i'm not sure how tolerant they would be, apparently 1/3 of all at Lincoln uni are gay as well, randomly

I'm not gay, but it really amazes me how many homophobic idiots there are around! What about male gynocologists - surely they're in it for the women? You really are incredibly stupid.

You're the kind of person who prevents positive developments in society. You should actually be ashamed of yourself. ******!

The northerners view us southerners as "airy fairies" and yet, if what people say on this board are true, it’s the other way around! Are northern “lasses” so bad as to have this effect?
No, how rude! (and you do get gay females as well you know!

Gay business seems to be more lucrative and it is definately more fashioable - half the people you'd find in the gay clubs are probably straight!

Peapod was exaggerating slightly, but there's no shortage of gay clubs.
And the straight ones are really good, especially Love Train.

Why do I?
It'd be a bit odd if I was a gay male...

Because I said "there's no shortage in gay clubs"?
Odd requirements they have to be gay nowadays....

Well there isn't a shortage, there's a whole place called the gay village for gawds sakes!
And Love Train is just a club - I don't think it has a sexuality.

Interesting to note the priorities of the mods around here.

Someone posts up some fairly innocuous pornography and gets banned immediately.

Someone posts utterly unfounded allegations of paedophilia against another member, and the post isn't even deleted, let alone the member banned.

Riiiight.

yeah well im not. I call a spade a spade and im not afraid to voice what i believe. homosexuals are unnatural. I totally believe our society is moving with respect to the treatment of homosexuals is not right. Why do they have the right to adopt children and be treated like normal families? I know its harsh but they're not. If two men or two women were supposed to have children they would have the ability to have children given to them. They shouldn't have any rights like this because they don't deserve it. It's almost becoming the norm to be gay

yeah and i am a ******, so? If ur a guy and u don't i'd say thats more unusual.
iiikewldude i do agree with you in some respects, and i do think it is becoming "fashion" to be gay, and yes it is unnatrural...i dont know the inds and outs of being gay but im shure matcho medic doesn't want to be a doctor to do what you implied earlier, int that right medic
