If you're wearing trousers, that is, not a skirt.
id say no...cos if you did wouldnt you still be able to see a bit that your wearing socks?
why not wear tights or something? they wont look as bad as socks
fair enough...i guess just do whatever you feel comfortable in
I'm not a fan of the tights/tights in sock or stocking form and trousers combination. So I'd wear socks :P
i wear socks with my bally pumps sometimes i wear black socks with mysilver pumps when my feet are cold! depends what colour shoe n sock! do not wear white socks ever though!
wear stripy socks!!!!!!! hehehe, i often wear socks with my pumps even if I'm wearing a skirt. Once I wore a longish skirt, went a bit below my knees and these black pumps embroidened with a green/purple leaf pattern and sequins on them from Faith with one stripy pink sock and one stripy blue sock. People walked past me with their heads parallel to the floor!!!! Just staring at my feet!!!! It was so funni.
I'm glad other people do, because I do all the time!!
I was just wondering if it was considered a complete fashion faux-pas, but apparently not, so that's OK. I have feet that are so blister-prone I have to wear socks with my pumps or I can't walk after about half an hour of wearing them!
Yes, so long as they're not white.
Or if they have cartoons/animals/strange pictures on them. That would look quite odd.
I never wear socks with any of my shoes that would show them- I think it looks awful! I do wear tights with my work shoes which are ballet pumps, ant that looks ok, but not sure about the thick socks thing! If you wore funky socks, such as stripy ones as someone here suggested, I think that would look pretty good.
were pop socks, they are specially designed for pumps i think that is the name although it sounds a bit wierd so i cant be sure, :P they are designed so you basically cant see them, and they are skin coloured.
i wear black socks with my black pumps for work
i always wear socks with my pumps! normall black sparkly ones with my gold pumps, looks cool
I don't think it looks right, but if you feel comfortable then go for it, and at least u'll be warm!!
