Alone at Xmas?

Is anyone sad about being single this xmas? Or looking forward to spending it just with friends and family rather than relationships?
Does anyone think xmas is better in a relationship?

Christmas is still fun even totally alone with no boyfriend, friends or family. I am in Germany by myself but I am still feeling happy and Christmasy just shopping and wandering through the Christmas markets. Its just all in your attitude if you feel like you´re lacking something or not.

I'm going to be single this Christmas for the first time since I was 13. I don't know why that makes me so sad but it kinda does. Just a bit ooo I'll have nobody to snuggle up with. The stupid thing is that I moved house away from my old area and my old boyfriend so it's not like we'd have been together anyway. I know nobody here so even if I was with somebody I wouldn't be spending time with them. But yes it makes me sad

Personaly christmas is to do with family and spending time with them. Even last year when I had a boyfriend I spent it with my family. Saying that being single at christmas sucks as it seems to be full of couples walking around together holding hands and being all loving.

To my mind, Christmas is a family affair.
I don't see what the big deal is about being single or not at Christmas - there's no reason to feel lonely about it.

Christmas is for families. I can't see myself spending Christmas with a boyfriend until I've moved in with him, to be honest. Of course, if my boyfriend didn't have a family of his own to go to, it would be great to have him come to mine. But I'll be staying with my mum and dad for Christmas for a good few years yet.

I spent 2 consecutive christmases (is that the right plural?? :confused:

) with my last girlfriend, it was ok but it is just not the same as being with my own family. But then I guess that depends on how close you are to your own family, and how well you get on with your partner's...

always spend christmas with the family! this is my fourth christmas since being with my boyfriend. I am seeing him tomorrow, but not until the evening when my parents have their friends round. His brothers girlfriend is going round for dinner, but I would always have to be at home for dinner, otherwise A) my parents would be upset and b) no1 does christmas dinner like your own parents! lol. It is very nice to have a partner at christmas tho, i haven't been without one for 5 years now lol, it's nice to have someone to cuddle, but if you haven't then its no big deal! my poor friends boyfriend of 3 n half years dumped her last night tho!!! very very harsh
