Pain and stiffness in forearm and hand

I have this pain in one of my bones on my right forearm connected to my elbow and to my right hand (little finger). Its been occuring for 3 days, and my hand is very stiff because of it, I have trouble typing and my wrist hurts too, and if I move the wrist slightly, my bones keep creating that clicking sound. I have been taking pain killers to stop it, but that doesnt stop my hand from being stiff. I also cant open my right hand completely because I dont have the strength to  my left hand and arm are normal, but its like my muscles have stopped working in my right hand and arm.

What do you think is the problem?

Stop using your computer for a few days if you can. Avoid repetitive movements and if you play the guitar lay off it for a few days too. You may have RSI or carpal tunnel syndrome.
*****, I cant leave the internet I will miss you all :frown:

There are tons of different things it could be..you can't diagnose it over the net although you can get yourself all worried over a multitude of things that aren't wrong. If you're worried then go see your doctor, only they can make an accurate diagnosis by examining your hand and arm.
nah Im not worried loads, just wondering how to get rid of this stiffness?
My mum has athiritis, its not that is it?

Sounds like RSI... if it is the best thing to do is get off the computer or you can do serious long term damage. Get one of those random tubigrip things, wear it all the time, and rest your wrist as much as possible.

But I'd go to the doctors, see what they say. And they'll give you some heavy-duty anti-inflammatories too which help.

See you in a week or so

NHS website

The 'treatment' page gives a bit of an overview... it can go on for years, don't push it, you just have to go for the enforced rest option.

Hope you feel better soon
Electrical stimulation, Yoga or Tai Chi may help.

sounds good
My mom has RSI and it doesn't really go away. She can get rid of it for a while and rest a lot but it is a recurring problem for her.

I still stick by what I said about getting a proper diagnosis from your doctor. Treating yourself using the net could potentially do damage if you're treating something you don't have. Take care of yourself hun and know what you're dealing with. There are a lot of different things it could be.
