Need a girl to take to leavers ball...

Hi

There is a leavers summer ball thing every year and I have a few questions. Do you have to go with a partner? (i have never had a g/f  - not because i am repulsive, but because i'm shy around girls) How am I supposed to find a girl who wants to be my partner  ? Can people go alone to these balls? What should I do...
I'm 17 and male btw.

Hope you can helps me!

You can go with friends. But asking a girl out is not a bad idea. Make sure it's one you're interested in relationship wise. Even if she says no, she'll be flattered, so you can't do much wrong!

Well if you think about it none of the girls will want to go alone either! I'd just ask around when it's closer to the time and see if there is anyone who hasn't got a partner and wants one. Of course you could just go alone and hang out with your friends. I've found at those things everyone gets all worried about asking someone to go with them, then you get there and everyone just splits off and spends the time with their mates. I highly doubt you have to bring a partner anyway.

Yeah but i'm sure everyone, even the ultra nerds, will find a girl to take (a nerdy girl!). My mates will be taking girls

Arghhhh! I have 6 months to find a g/f, wish me luck.

Won't it be soooo obvious that i'm using them for the ball. I mean there is not even 1 girl that I talk to on a regular basis.

The last time i checked, it was 6 months 'till the summer...

I would go out with any girl, I just need to pluck up the courage...

i think girls will be feeling the same way - 'who wil take me' ' who can i go with'

at my prom. people all went as groups of frinds, hiring a limo together in a group of 8-10

the same was the case of my uni ball.

talk with your friends and the nerds and see if they wana go as a group. if you go with a random girl, youll feel shy and have a shyt time.

saying this i'll go!
Start to befriend girls now...just have some small-talk somewhere. Hopefully the friendshop will develop and by 6 months you can ask her to go with you, and if she says she doesn't like you, just got as friends if she can't find anyone either.
