Ex boyfriend blues
Hey I could do with some really good advice as to how to get over my ex-boyfriend.
We broke up 3 weeks ago after being together for two and a half years. Over the summer we had a really good time together and saw each other nearly every day. However, he went off to Liverpool uni in September and even tho he was so far away, we were both determined to make things work. I couldn't go to uni this year cos I had to have an operation. He showed me so much support during the operation and soon after, he came down to visit! I was so happy. Things were going really well and I didnt mind being away from him. Anyways he went back to uni and for the first couple of weeks I was ok but then I started arguing. He had enough of me arguing so I appologised cos I wanted to keep the relationship strong. The next few weeks he slowly fell out of love with me and two weeks b4 he was due back, we broke up.
He broke my heart saying he didnt want to be in a relationship anymore so there was nothing I could do. I understand this seeing as hes at uni with new people but it just seems hes forgotton about his life down here. I cant understand how he can fall out of love with me so quickly after two and a half years?!!? I've met up with him since and I just really miss the intimacy when i'm with him. We were so close cos i was always with him, i lost all my friends and now i'm at home all day watching way too much tv with nothing to do. I dont know how to move on.

Not much you can do - how about going clubbing with your mates in search of a suitable rebound.

Join some clubs/ societies to make new friends (serves a few purposes - it'll take your mind off him too and you may even meet someone else!)
Re-establish contact with your old friends.
