Annoyed about the LNAT score coming so late??

How many of you are annoyed that we get the LNAT score late January, when most of us have finished our interviews at Oxbridge? Isnt it ridiculous that we go to the interview, not having a clue as to what our LNAT score is, and after we get rejected/offered, we later get an email giving us the result?

I don't think it's 'ridiculous'... would it be better that Oxbridge interviews were delayed until after you knew your score? - No. Would it be better that marking of the papers was rushed so that Oxbridge people could go into their interviews knowing every possible mark and grade to their name? - No.

It's annoying, yes, but that's all. Last year we all did the test on Nov 3rd and had to wait until 31st Jan, this year some people are taking the test even later and still getting the scores in Jan - that's not bad.

Also, even if you did know your score before an interview, I'm struggling to think what relevance it could have. Time may even be wasted discussing the test when it would be better spent discussing you. The LNAT was intended to be an additional part of the selection process, not an integral one.

Well said! It is annoying (especially as i sat it in oct), but whatever will be will be. What if you did badly, and knew, surely it would affect your performance at interview? Best off this way! :p:
That is true, and i must say i am suprised by the people who are still taking the LNAT even now.... it seems ages ago that i did mine! Nevertheless, is it not stupid that, even when asked, Oxbridge Tutors, despite (i assume) having the LNAT score in front of them, are barred from disclosing your result to you, as confirmed by one of the people i met at interview this year?

*Sorry about the form... watching adjournment debate on BBC Parliament.... how sad am i? *

Yes! i do think that is stupid. In my cambs interview i asked for mine too and the woman gave me a filthy look and rambled on about cambridge policy! Why should they be so snooty, i already felt like i was being slowly murdered!

I'm not amazingly annoyed. I'm lucky because i have offers at Nottingham and Birmingham, which means I cant have done too badly.

However, I was asked at my Cam interview how i thought id done on LNAT. that question left me stumped lol! Roll on results!
