I have just been revising case studies for my GCSE Geography OCR spec B Exam tomorrow.
One of the case studies we need is a climatic hazard in an LEDC,
i was planning on doing the 2010 Pakistan floods. However, it just occured to me, is flooding a climatic hazard. The floods were result of monsoon rains but can i use this case or not?
    any help greatly appreciated.

I need to know the exact same thing. for an MEDC case study (to do with climate hazards) you can use Hurricane Katrina (lots of information online i.e. bbc bitesize if you haven't studied it), however it is mentioned in the spec that you should have a case study for a climate hazard in an LEDC as well, I'm not 100% sure on this one but I think you could do Cyclone Nargis? better double check that one though.

For Geography I am on OCR B as well. For LEDC I do Typhoon Haiyan and for MEDC I do the Australia drought in the Murray-Darling river basin.
