i had an interview today @ the Elizabeth Gaskell building, i was VERY VERY impressed by the facilities and accomodation, the uni and atmosphere in manchester is just fantastic

. What made you chose it as your firm? Ahhh I need to make a choice soon, because the next thing will be picking an accommodation :eek3:

It was the intervew day that made me certain, talking to the students...and the fact that I love Manchester's nightlife :smile:

Does anyone know exactly when the course starts (I believe its the 1st of September?) .. Also is it possible to go to manchester for the crb check on the 3rd despite (if it does start on the 1st) we'd have already started? :s-smilie:

I think it's 27th September, but I'm not too sure. However the CRB Check on the 3rd should be completely fine as it IS listed on the MMU CR website as a legitimate drop-in session :smile:

Not sure what the MMU Bursary is - I'd advise contacting the university directly.

Well on ucas track it says the course starts on the 1st which contradicts mmu saying that we have to get our crb check before we start :p:

haha .. I wish they'd give us some more information!

I hope it doesn't start as late as that haha .. I'll be moving to manchester in a couple of weeks, don't want to be on my own for too long lol :o:

And at the interview they talked about the bursary that the uni provides which can be upto £1000, but from what I've found out I don't think we are entitled to it because our tuition is paid for .. I just don't see why they'd tell us about it when we can't have it haha :smile:

Ha! Excellent. I don't want to be one of these people sitting waiting to go to Uni when all my friends are updating their facebook telling me how amazing it is. But then again I don't want to be the first to go! :tongue:
