When I lost A LOT of weight due to illness (eek horrible sticky-out ribs), I had to have a lot of things like build-up shakes. They come as a powder and you mix them into milk like a milkshake. They did work, and my Dad also had to drink them for a while because he's just skinny lol.

Just eat more, or blend your food and drink it sometimes if you dont always have the appetite. Putting on 2 stone by june would be no problem if your not bothered about putting on fat. You could easily put on a stone a month. Dont waste your money on shakes.
Im 5'11'' and had a similar bmi to you, maybe slightly lower not that long ago. before i went to uni i had a bmi of about 26 at about 15% bf, so it really isnt hard.

Im 18 aswell and have always been generally thin. I weighed 10stone but I have gained a stone over the last month or so. How much do you weigh if you dont mind sayin? Im kinda on a bulking diet though so im eating alot. Try and eat healthy and eat every 3 hours. I eat like 2 slices toast in morning with fruit. 3 Eggs 4 Toast, Roasted Nuts, Yoghurt for dinner, sandwich about 3/4 o'clock. Then I av a large dinner at 6. Then fruit and toast/cereal or both at night. Eat protein like eggs, chicken, fish and some fats like nuts. Just eat eat eat and keep checking your weight.

If you're too skinny, you shouldn't be cutting out any foods

Eat calorie dense stuff like peanut butter, nuts, chocolate, lots of oils etc.

Its really not that hard.

Im gaining weight and its quite enjoyable eating loads, although I generally eat stuff thats good for me.

Far easier than eating little I presume.

eat lots of high calorie stuff (except fast food) like oils, nuts, choc etc and maybe get some high calorie weight gain powder supplement.

i really doubt that would be enough for an 18 year old male who finds it very difficult to put on weight. i would starve if i ate like that.

blimey, you must eat a shitload?

i sure do. 2 pieces of toast and a piece of fruit etc for breakfast would never be enough. thats how women eat!
I think i have a BMI of around 19 but i eat bloody loads of food all the time. I just cant put weight on. Im not really trying to though, im not that skinny.

pfft, I have a BMI of 19 and I couldn't give a toss. I love healthy enough, and you can't see my ribs.

I do eat **** loads though, mostly junk food since starting uni, but then I think I have a very high metabolism...
If you find it hard to eat enough to put on weight, I would just buy the supplements (e.g. fortisip, complan is another one but I think it's porridgey) from a pharmacy and drink them where you would normally have something less calorific. Slow and steady though!

I've tried meal replacement protein shakes with minor success. You just have to eat more.
