as long as you ahve done a few things to talk about on ur ps and perhaps in interview if u r asked, then thats fine.

at my skool, there is very little to do.

it doesnt go much past library assistnace and shared reading, which is hideously boring and not relevant for anything other than english really.

Thanks! Are Cam particular about anything? I'm going to apply for vet med.

I swim and am thinking of joing a club when I'm good enough, I used to learn piano when I was little so thought I'd start lessons again, and when I can afford it I fancy doing horse riding lessons.

My worry is that everyone will have 3 or 4 A's, which I know I can get but I need something to help me stand out from the crowd.

I have started applying for work experience placements too.

Are group activities preferable to singular? thank you xxx

Well you need to demonstrate that you can work as a part of a group. By yourself, and demonstrate that you can both listen to instructions but also decide on things by yourself.

A good example is someone eho has done:

-Duke of Edinburgh Award
-CCF
-Team sport/single sport
-Young Enterprise

etc.

Then use your free time to do work experience, or just work. Universities like people who work because it shows that you can live in a regieme of working and studying as well.
