just too scared...

Basically I've just had my first term at uni... I'd never been kissed 'properly' before I started, and a couple of weeks into term I heard this guy I'd became really good friends with liked me. We went out together a couple of times, but everytime he tried to kiss me I'd just avoid him- obviously giving him the (wrong) impression that I didnt like him. I eventually told him I'd never pulled anyone before, but since then I've not been able to look at him without feeling awkward. I really want to go back next term and be able to just be normal with him. But i just get so scared about kissing a guy- i know its stupid and everyone says just go for it, but even when drunk i seem to sober up as soon as any guy looks like hes about to try. Its really getting me down....i just dont want to mess it up.

Just relax, whats with all the tension?...and I wouldnt advise doing it while drunk.

The best philosophy with kissing is to just 'go with the flow'.

Don't worry about messing it up nor 'planning' how to kiss - just go for it.
The fact that you are actually kissing the guy - no matter how bad the kiss may seem to you - will signify to him that you like him enough to actually kiss him :smile:

Kissing is just one of those things you get used to over time with the more practice you have.

And contrary to popular belief - not everyone out there is as experienced in the bedroom department as you may believe - they may be just as nervous as you.

As for the guy who you think you may of kinda scared off - just explain your feelings to him and Im sure he will understand.

If he isn't a shallow minded p***k, he will take it slow with you, and won;t judge you on being crap. I was scared when i first got with a girl i fell for, because i had only kissed 1 girl once before. I told her and she took it steady and didnt judge me, now it's nothing!

Talk to him, if he is a nice guy he won't care, if he does care, he isn't worth it.

Guys tend to like girls who are a bit unexperienced, at least sometimes, they have this thing with putting someone 'under their wing' and protect them, it makes them feel strong. Go for it, you have nothing to lose.
