measure the area

Hello every body:
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to every one of u:smile:

This question looks simple but i dont recall learnig how to find the area of an ellipse!!!
Here is the Question :

Measure the area inside the ellipse
(x/3)^2 + (y/2)^2 = 1
Then measure the area inside the ellipse
(x/a)^2 + (y/b)^2 = 1 where a and b are given positive constants.
The ellipse has 2 axes, of length 2A and 2B. The area of the ellipse will be πAB\pi AB, which you can see gives you the area of a circle when A = B = radius of circle.
