You only have to take a peak at page 3 to answer that question

It isn't all that easy to spot one but they do exist.

Seriously endangered species is probably the best way to put it.

There are lots of pretty Imperial girls. You can find them at Crush on Friday nights.

I really don't know about that. I think LSE has more talent even though it has a significantly smaller population of students (though it's probably more balanced in terms of number of women... Imperial seems so, male?)

And I'm even less sure about that.

There are fewer girls at Imperial than guys. However, I have to say that very many of them are artlessly, unaffectedly beautiful.

There are lots of pretty girls at Imperial in my opinion - you'll find though that the vast majority of them are medics

And a tiny minority at Maths Department in the 1st year.

There's about a dozen attractive girls doing Physics in my year group. For some reason, nobody seems to know they exist tho. I think it's because none of them sit near the back where most of us sit lol. (Us as in the non-nerds)

EDIT: Besides, unless you're really attractive, IMO it's pointless that you're even discussing the hot girls at ICL anyway. I mean realistically; look at the ratio, I know female talent is below par at ICL compared to other Uni's, BUT unless you're quite hot it's gonna be hard for you to score from the 2/3 good looking girls at the Maths department, say.

And the medics girls aren't any more attractive really, maybe only slightly. There's just more of them, that's all.

Erm, I think by taking the physics degree in the first place you admit your nerdiness. Why sit at the back where you can't see anything going on?

We see perfectly. It's just more fun at the back and that's where we sit. And how does taking a Physics degree make any1 nerdy? Personality and appearance makes some1 nerdy.

And I thought trying to be cool was something we left behind at 6th form. :p:
Come onto MSN, I need a word.

LOL, it's interesting you said that. I always used to sit nearer the front at 6th form but thats coz my teachers handwriting was messed up.

In lectures a group of us started sitting at the back. I suggested we moved forward but we cudnt ever get any free rows, so we ended up staying there and certain rows started congregating at the back. Spaces are scare...5 minutes late and ur screwed!

Well, i mean the odds arent going to be for me (being a maths and computer science applicant) going to a Uni with a poor female : male ratio. But i mean someones got to take the "Fit Girls" Right? :frown: Hey its London, its all good

I knew my plan had a loop hole! Anyways they may take the Imperial Girls but they can never take our freedom..... -----> Sorry.

A girl studies Computing at Imperial College. Oh dear...

Reply 16

that's a bit harsh. i know several fit girls in 1st year computing.

Reply 17

I'm not surprised by this observation of mine - but the standard of 'fit' does seem to be lower among those people who go to Imperial compared to other places...

Reply 18

At the computing interview day I went to about 3 out of the 5 (or 6) current students that were giving advice etc.. were girls. I assumed that these were the only girls on the course (in that particular year) . It didn't represent all of the rumours that I had heard.

Thats really funny! Smartness of student is inversely proportional to the "fitness" of girls he dates (or wants to date)
