Favourite Anime Soundtracks

Another AMV with a composition by Yuki Kajiura. It was one of my favorite when I watched Noir. There are some soundtracks in Noir which I like and that is one of them:

Anyone who know Maison Ikkoku? to be honest I have never watched this anime, but I'm fascinate in the French opening - although I don't speak a word in French ^^". Nevertheless it's just wonderful to listen. It sounds so romantic, especially it is sung in French.

Arrival of Tears by Ayane. It's from an anime called 11 eyes. Also chAnge by Miwa (Bleach), Naraku no Hana (from Higurashi) and Ichiban no Takaramono, Yui version (Angel Beats!) There's loads but I can't really remember them all XD

Yui Version of the opening sequence from Angel Beats! is one of my favourite opening sequences ever. In fact, that show probably has one of the best soundtracks next to Baccano! (honourable mention: K-On!). GirlDeMo ftw!

It's such a beautiful song, tbh I didn't want to watch Angel Beats! after how much Clannad made me cry, but I heard this song yesterday so I guess it'll be next on my anime-to-watch list  Yes, GirlDeMo (and LiSA herself) ftw! ^_^

Umineko's soundtrack is my favourite, ever - Hope is the only song that makes me cry :frown:

Also, Gate of Steiner from Steins;Gate is hauntingly beautiful

The first 27 secs remind me of the song in Zelda:OoT when it shows the flashback of the triforce being made.

Naruto Shippuuden OST 2 and Tsubasa Chronicle
There are two versions of cats eyes, French and Italian, which I like.

This is the opening in Italian language

And this is the French one

In comparison both sounds good. But if I have to decide me between both of them, I would prefer the Italian version. Moreover there are better Anime openings in French in my opinion.

I just hear this ending and read the English translation at the same time. It sounds melancholy, if you ask me, but I agree with you.

It is melancholy, I found it almost haunting. But I still love it :')

I love melancholy openings and endings in animes. If you know more of them, then give me the names, please. The only endings which sound sad or melancholy at least are kieirina kanjo from Noir, sailing fly from ideon and last but not least the instrumental ending in the last episode of death note which I have post before.

I'm not sure if you'd like this song, but Toki wo Kizamu Uta by Lia is quite melancholy, I really like it, it's from Clannad. Tell me what you think!

You want an answer and I give you an answer. In comparison to the last ending, it is not so melancholy, but it contains passages which sound full of sorrow. But when I listen to the songstress, it sounds entirely different. While the lyrics tend to sad, the voice is so lovely and soft. Two contrasts which make the ending well. But that is just my point of view.

I have just listen to all of them. I was not able to understand them, as there were no English translations (except the second video from above which was sung in English as far as I understood). Nevertheless I like the endings, even if I'm not able to reason.
