How much did I drink?

On Christmas eve I got drunk for the first time. I was up chatting at home with my Mum, and she let me have some bottles of Smirnoff ice. I had three, but I later remember pouring out a vodka and coke. The problem was, I'd hardly eaten a thing all day and it went straight to my head. I must have had
about a quarter of a pint of vodka, plus heaps of coke. I started to feel hazy,
a bit dizzy, then I went to my room at 2am and spewed up. The next day
I was knackered, and had heart palpitations. How many units did I have,
and was it dangerous? I'm 17.

you didn't have many units, and regarding danger, well one could say any alcohol is dangerous. but no, the amount you had wasnt that dangerous, but obviously bad enough to make you sick.

you'll be fine
I'd say you had around 5 units (I may be totally off here though). I wouldn't worry about it too much if I was you, there's worse to come when you start uni. Next time you drink though, make sure you eat beforehand.

If you don't know how much you drank, then we couldn't begin to tell you how many units you had...

Depends on your definition of dangerous. Certainly not clean and healthy living, but it's what most students do on a nightly basis.. The fizz in the coke probably helped it get to you quicker, and of course the lack of food. It's not nice, but it's probably better that you puked a good amount of it up on the night rather than in your sleep..

If you're worried about it, eat well before you start drinking next time. That means before. No point lining your stomach after a couple of drinks.

No its not. I've seen heaps of my mates get drunk and do stupid things
like fall onto the road, plus when I go to Uni that's when
the fun will really start!

When playing a drinking game at uni (ring of fire) i decided to use vodka and lemonade instead of snake bites, ended up drinking a whole litre bottle in 2 hours and then had two pints of snake bite aswell. I was seriously messed up to say the least, taught me a lesson though because it takes alot to make me seriously wasted and i try and stay well far this side of being wasted these days. Worst thing was it wasn't untill about 3 hours after i had drank it all i was throwing up...so it was in my system for a long while.
Least you got it out your system and that small amount won't of harmed you atall so don't worry.

ha i wouldn't worry, no need to get your stomach pumped yet!

try completing a wine centurian (i don't believe this task is actually possible)... for some reason we had 12 bottles of wine laying around at uni (amazingly they were undrunk) so we started at 5 and drank a shot of wine every minute untill you couldn't do anymore. i got to 30, two of the girls dropped out at 25 and one made it to 40, argh! needless to say we were all pretty much on the floor by the time we left... all fun and games at uni i tell you x
If you can remember what you actually drank, this is pretty handy:
