sinus infection?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but here we go anyway.
But for the last few months i have irregularly been coughing up bright illuminous yellow phelgm, but over the last week it has got much worse in the mornings i am coughing up loads of bright yellow and green phelgm and also blowing it down from my left nostril, but not the right.

This morning though it's got worse and i am coughing up masses of illuminous orange phelgm and it's really disgusting. I think my left ear is a bit effected as well as it have kind of lost my balance a bit and it aches, and i have also started to get a bit of a chesty cough.

I would go to the doctors but it's closed today and i'm not properly registered there as i am registered at uni and it's always really difficult. Has anyone had this before? and do you think that it will go away by itself if i just leave it, or will the doctor be able to do anything?
thanku for your help

A week! That definitley calls for a visit to the ENT department at the hospital, if your GP isn't open. See what they say.

You don't have to be registered with a Doctor to see one. Make an appointment, and state that you aren't registered. When you arrive there they should make you fill out a Visitor's form. If you have an NHS card take it with you.
I had a sinus infection over the summer - the worst I've ever felt (bar food poisoning!) Mine was like a really heavy, constant cold. Brightly coloured snot was a feature too - as well as waking up with my eyes glued shut (sorry guys, I can hear many shouts of "eeew! TMI!")

It made me feel like hell on earth until it was diagnosed by the summer camp doctor and I was put on antibiotics 3 times a day for 3 weeks before it fully went away. Felt SO much better after like 2 days though, so get yourself to the doctor asap!

Try homeopathy

Yeah, it does sound like an sinus infection. A week or so of antibiotics should help to clear it though (if it is that), so get yourself down to your local doctors ASAP.
