Candybox

I've heard that Candybox has moved. Is this true, or is it still at Hombres? Also does anyone know of any other good, cheap, wednesday club nights - other than cheapskates that is?

Candybox is replacing Cheapskates at club where it is currently held! :eek:

And tomorrow is the last Cheapskates! :eek:

Hombres is closing down on New Years Eve.

Another cheap Wednesday night is at The Roxy - just a few streets down from Hombres.

Whenever I've been to Roxy I've had a really awesome night - the time I went to Hombres it was absolutely rubbish, the music was terrible, far too loud and the drinks were not even worth the pound (or whatever) they charged. Cheapskates on the other hand, i think is usually a pretty cool night - fairly good music, nice atmosphere :biggrin:

No Candybox is not replacing Cheapskates and Cheapskates will be still be every Wednesday And Candybox will be at Moonlighting every Thursday.

A new cheap indie night has started The borderline just around the corner from Moonlighting called Happy!.

I should say that i was originally led to believe Cheapskates was being replaced but anyway Candybox being on another day is good, as it means it doesnt clash with the Wednesday night student nights! :biggrin:

was about to disagree with this, but then i realised that compared with the age of some the girls i've seen in the roxy, at 22, i probably count as an old man.

Had some good nights there though, can never complain at 2 for 1 on Krone'

yeh, last night 2for1 Krone, 2.50 a double/mixer, not baad. oh, but i always seem to attract people on copious amounts of drugs when im pretty sober. some girl was eating her tongue whilst rubbing her thunder thighs against me. urghh.
