If you are referring to exams in IT then yes I agree with you. My A level computing subject content was very boring. Then of course during my GCSE year we had to do OCR IT qualifications which were the most easiest and boring things I have ever done at school.

I.T teachers are crap. In my experience they only do it because they cannot get decent jobs in industry. The only place I have known them to be good is University but then they are getting paid like £40k a year for it.

Nope, I love IT. My teacher for theory lessons is hilarious!

I can easily see how it could be boring with a lame teacher though.

My old computing teacher was one of the best teachers I have ever had. The content was just plain boring.

You either went to a good school or you were lucky. Everybody I knows says how crap their IT teachers are. They nearly always tend to be Business Studies graduates too.

I did go to a good school but the other two computing teachers were dreadful. It was just that one particular teacher that was really good.

I'm glad to hear some IT teachers can actually teach. Maybe he was just doing it becuase he actually wanted to be a teacher rather being an I.T industry reject.

That was the case. He was a Physics teacher before computing was even a subject. When the school decided to make it a subject he got the head of I.T job.

Are you kidding? IT is not getting boring. IT is boring. (IT in my valcabulary refers to the use of computer equipment and application programs, it does not contain any programming contents.)

Although database pays well, it is one boring part of Computing. Especially in A'level. Why can't the exam bored think of anything else for the students to do? Like write a well designed card game or something.
