Vocational Qualifications and Top Uni's?

Hey again,

I was wondering what are your opinions on the following questions:

How would top uni's react to applicants that have vocational qualifications combined with A-level qualifications, say for example AVCE Double Award ICT plus another two or three A-levels. Do you think that the applicant might get rejected as a result he chose to study a vocational subject (regarded as lower class!) ??

Regards.

Oh, just to mention,

Top Uni's - Oxbridge, LSE, KCL, UCL.

Well, the actual scenario is:

AVCE DOUBLE AWARD ICT - AA
FRENCH A2 - A
MATHS A2 - A/B
ACCOUNTING A2 - A

These are my subjects, and I was wondering about applying to subjects such as economics at Oxbridge, LSE and UCL, business management at KCL, and accounting and finance at LSE. Btw those are predicted grades ;D
I applied for Oxford this year with Double award AVCE Art and 2 A levels, and was rejected. However, I'm sure this was more to do with the interview than the actual qualifications. Before applying, I asked a representative of Oxford uni whether they would take AVCE and they replied in the affirmative, so go for it.

However, I would warn you that some universities don't take vocational qualifications for the more competitive courses. At a warwick open day, I asked a admissions tutor whether they would accept my qualifications and they said yes; when I was rejected without interview, I was slightly mystified so checked the UCAS site and it said that they didn't take double award AVCE's. I had been given totally false information! You have high predicted grades, so you shouldn't worry, but phone some admissions tutors anyway, just in case.
