Living "For the Moment"

Recently i have come on leaps and bounds with my confidence and self esteem yet i am still finding it very difficult to "live for the moment" I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to feel more in the present as i feel i am missing out on important experiences by not appreciating the here and now.
