thats really not advised...joggin or some other forn of aerobic activity which elevates your heart rate for at least 30 -45 mins should do the trick. And yes a sensible diet, no excess sugars such as chocolate or stfuff like crips. And also munch on ESSENTIAL amino acids !

Cut down your calorie intake to 1000 - 1500 and exercise daily. Do sit ups in the morning and before bed

people think the more sit ups they do the more defined their abs will become thats not the case. You really need to lose the fat first because theres a layer of fat covering the six pack.

Jogging definitely hard in the snow but possible join a gym & cut down on unhealthy eating !

Hows it gonna damage your body?

Reply 14

by not eating you deprive your body of the things it needs to function properly. It also lowers your metabolism: body will go into starvation mode and hold onto any calories you do happen to consume and turn it into fat, meaning you won't lose ANY weight/fat.

You are best to eat small meals throughout the day (about 6), which will actually help to raise your metabolism. This will be further raised with exercise.

Imasillynarb loving your sarcasm, i'm liking the utter contempt in your typing on people's advice, it made me chuckle. I really love the amount of crap people spout on this topic.

What things are you depriving it of that it needs to function properly?

It lowers your metabolism by a small amount, if you eat say a 200 calorie chocolate bar once during a month of fasting, do you think its gonna turn to fat?

Sit ups, not too much 'bloaty' food or drink such as fizzy pop, bread, pasta.

why on earth do people recommend sit ups?

Reply 19

The thing a lot of people don't realise is that by doing sit-ups without proper diet, their actually gonna make their stomach look bigger and so what usually happens is that they develop their stomach muscles by doing loadsa crunches so they now have muscle as well as fat in the abdomen region and as this makes their stomach look bigger they then give up altogether.
