The Libertines, Cola Queen

Right, i always wondered why Cola Queen by The Libertines sounded so different to all the rest of their stuff. Someone has now told me that there is an old band called The Libertines and it's probably one of their songs! Does anyone know if this is true? I thought maybe they did it while Steven Bedlow was frontman, and that's why it has such a dirty sound (because it was really early Libertines), like it's been recorded in someone's bedroom

Saw the IVs live once and thought they were pretty average, I'd like to hear their songs on record or something but I dunno whether they're actually still together.
Apparently Scarborough Steve sang a song or two at Koko with the Paddingtons a couple of days back and all.
