Said by Sir Winston Churchill himself, probably the greatest person ever to have lived after Jesus Christ.

So what does the "left" have in reply to this one?

I believe this is brought up in reference to the likes of AntiFa and UAF, who infact just try to deny a forum to anybody who disagrees with them or isn't left of centre, which in its self is inherently facist.

Churchill was the man the country needed in 1940, but he wasn't the greatest human for 2,000 years.

That Churchill was actually a vile racist, generally an ********, and is only venerated because he happened to be in the right office during the right war.

^Nazi Socialist Party.
a) National not a nazi (Technically NSDAP)
b) Just because they called themselves 'socalist'-a leftover from the period before he took control-doesn't mean that they where.

Agreed. He was basically a less slimey drunken coked-up version of Nick Griffin

You misquoted it. It's "The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists".

As mentioned above, Stalin was even worse than Hitler in some respects, he was a fascist yet also a vehement communist. So was Nicolae Ceaușescu and Chairman Mao.

Why's it become the in thing to hate on Churchill these days?

He wasn't perfect, but he was a damn good leader at the time and his views weren't even really out of line for the times.

The real hero of the time was John MacLean.

And how exactly do you come up with that one, bearing in mind he wasn't even alive?
