Hi TSR,

I have just started working with a company. I received a payslip by email earlier today, but haven't actually been paid yet. Is this normal? I was told I'd get paid on Thursdays and it seems odd to me to not get paid but to just receive a payslip

Give it some time yet.
You should get it paid to your bank account later today or tomorrow.
If not ask someone at work (your manager) to check it out.

Yes, often payslips are given a couple of days before, depending on where you work. I got mine yesterday, but only got paid today

Check it out in a week, and read your contract. In my part time job, I get paid one month in arrears (july's payday is for work done in june)

I've always gotten my pay slips after getting paid.

Ah ok, all I know is that they said I'd get paid on Thursdays and get paid 2 weeks after I'd done the work (I don't work there regularly, it's more like a few days a month sort of thing) but it's only been 1 and a half weeks so maybe it will be next Thursday. I shall check my account tomorrow though, thanks for the advice

I've recently resigned from my job and was sposed to be paid on the 14th but wasn't and my old manager said I should have been paid then, and had no payslip, but didnt get my payslip till 5 days ago but the date on the payslip says the 14th and it's now the 27th does this mean I will get paid or have to wait yet another week?
