At the salon they see that all the time!!! It's only embarrassing because you think it's embarrassing if you get what I mean. I wouldn't worry about it!

Afetr you get waxed you will usually be red and sore for a while after, but it goes down.
well if it's your first time, I would suggest waxing in a salon or perhaps a hair-removal cream for sensitive skin, which would be much cheaper and can be done at home. Both have similar effects. Good luck!!

Yea dont wax if you're sensitive.
Why not use veet for the personal areas and for sensitive skin.

If its your first time, definately home.
I attempted waxing down their myself

BAD idea :bawling:

Ended up using veet to finsish the job
but if im doing it by mself i dont really know how much 2 take off etc??

Just do however much you think looks neat enough for what you want it to look like! Its up to you!

However much you want really! Its up to you
If you do it yourself have a soak in the bath first before you do it, so it makes the hair softer. Then moisturise afterwards.

Why would it be embarrasing? Just ask for a woman to do it, afterall it is their job!

I'd say go to a salon for the first time! They see it all the time, and they're the ones trained to do it, not us!

Oh no no way dont do it at home by yourself if you dont know what you're doing. Leave it to the experts.

I agree, no way, definitly go to a salon! it only costs about £6 and just don't LET yourself be embarassed...remind yourself they see it all the time (and probs much worse!) you keep your knickers on and just say how much you want taken off.

But maybe veet would be better, less painful and you can do it yourself
I'm too scared to get waxed *down there* so just use hair removal cream and it's fine. Get rid of however much you want to get rid of, there's no "normal" when it comes to that.

Oh one question because I've never actually gone to a salon to get it done before - should you trim before you go for a wax right? Or er would they take care of that? Silly question I know...
^ Forgot the anonymous box? :P. But, yea... It would be better to go to a salon. They know what they're doing.

Why don't you try shaving it? Would be a good way to test how sensitive your skin is.

Are you talking to me? No I didnt forget to tick the anonymous box I'm not embarrassed about asking a question. I'm asking if I'd be expected to trim before I went to a salon.

You can use veet on the top of your thighs but no further.

For your first time definitely go to the salon, especially if you have sensitive skin. Waxing is the best way, it lasts longer and gives a smoother finish, and because you haven't done it before you should have enough growth to get a really good finish.
