how to tell your bf you want to start sleeping together?

me ans my bf have been together for over a year! about 5 months ago he sed he wanted to get closer but nothing has happened but i am ready and i want to start sleeping together! the thing is we have not been out together for weeks due to the fact of lots of uni work and our jobs and to top it off i have not seen him due to the fact of his niece being ill in hospital over xmas! how shud i tackle this? i was thinking of jus txtin him and sayin i wud like to tlk about us 2 sleeping together? has i have no luck ringing him or seeing him plssssssss help x x x x

I think it'll just happen naturally when both of you are ready. I know I've never talked about it with a boyfriend, we kinda just did it! Although, obviously, make sure one of you has contraception!
Maybe if it hasn't happened soon, you could ask him subtly if he's ready to take things further.

Might sound daft.. but perhaps if you can't say it to his face it isn't the right time?

Just see if you can be in a situation where it could happen.. and see where it leads? It will head in that direction if its supposed to.. and I'm sure he won't complain.

just make some surprise for him, when you wont need any words... like prepare dinner for him, with candels, romantic music, on the floor and some schampagne (sorry is the spelling is not correct)...and then start kissing him...and then it will just happen itself :smile:

Please please please don't say it like that! If that was texted to me after a year it would sap away any fantasy I had. It comes across like you want him to come in and look at financial papers.

If you must text him at least say it in semi-obvious riddles. Like "I've been thinking a bit. We've been going out a while and I'd like to.. y'know, wit you :wink:

when me and my boyfriend did it, he just had this thing where he kept saying 'you have too many layers on' hehe.. and i don't know.. we were messing around, aaand yeah we just talked about it and did it..

dont do it via text, its lovely to see his reaction, wait till your together chilling and hugging on bed or something..then just casually say 'so x..when are we going to sleep together?'..i did it like that, then again im notorious for being blunt...he looked really happy and just said..'i was just waiting for you to ask!'
