Confused?

I reckon I'm abusing the anonymous user thingy here - but well, you never do know.... :rolleyes:

Also, I know there's already tonnes of these threads and it's a bit pathetic that I don't have the guts just to ask him... Sorry!

Anyway, it's all about a guy I really like! We're pretty good friends, despite only having known each other for a few months, and I've really liked him for a while now. A couple of my friends have said they think he fancies me (despite them not even knowing that I like him) and he is kinda flirty with me; but he's like that with a lot of people. I don't know if he likes me, or if that's just what he's like. On New Year's Eve, I was out with him and we had a goodbye kiss - just on the lips, nothing more - but we were both totally wasted! I dunno if therefore it means nothing..... Aargh!

I'm not sure what the point of this is, and what I'm wanting you to tell me....... Just if you think he likes me, I guess? And what i should do about it? If you need more info, let me know :smile:

Go out with him again, don't get as drunk as New Year, chat to him, have fun and see how it goes from there...
Based on what you have told us, it is impossible to say whether he likes you or whether he was just in the New Year spirit, will need a lot more information than that to try and decipher it.

Okay, thanks guys.

I don't really know what else to tell you... We're pretty good friends, as I said. We see each other a couple of times a week, and we always chat etc. He's friendly towards me, you know, making fun of me and stuff - but he is like that with a lot of people, so I dunno if it's 'cause he likes me in any way! On New Year it wasn't just me and him out, there was a group of us, although from what I can remember, we spent most of the night together.. (although he did go off to meet some other girl afterwards) I've seen him since then, and he never mentioned it, although I didn't either. I don't want to, he might not even remember it!
I'm not sure if he knows I'm shy or not, I'm normally quite normal around him (since we're friends); I'm more shy in the sense that I like him... If any of this makes sense...
