Eating:(

For New Year I have been trying to eat healthily,hopefully meaning I will lose some weight.

My problem is that mid-afternoon and around this time in the evening I start wanting to eat chocolate and rubbish like that.I eat healthy meals and they are filling and even though I am not hungry I still get cravings to eat.

Can anyone suggest a way that I could stop this?I think it's more habit than anything.

I'm finding that while i'm home from Uni, cos i'm just soo bored and there's nothing to do and no-one to go out with. Because in Uni I'm alway busy so I don't snack.

I think right today not going to eat junk, then I get a craving and down it goes, lol

when you're hungry, you eat. sad fact.

try drinking water or something when you want to snack on unhealthy things. when you feel like eating these things, think of the reason why you want to lose weight and tell yourself that you arent going to reach this goal if you break this.

maybe make the chocolate harder to get to, and have the healthy options easy nearby, so you can snack then?

i find eating smaller and more often is easier for me. i try to snack on healthyish things, but obviously i break that a bit! especially after xmas!

also, can you buy treats which are healthier? e.g. low fat things. if you do have to snack, then they are better.

im no diet expert, but i hope that helps a bit!

Luckily I have a fast matobolism which means I can eat anything I want without worrying about my weight :biggrin: *runs away*
